Alert emails
Ledion emails you when something needs a person: a broken connection, sends failing, the plan running out, Google rejecting conversions, the trial ending. It sends nothing else: no newsletters, no tips.
Who gets them
- The person who installed Ledion, always.
- Up to 10 more addresses you add under Other alert emails, in Ledion’s Settings or on Ledion’s settings page in HubSpot (Connected apps → Ledion → Settings).
Each email comes from Ledion, notify@ledion.io. Replies go to me, santi@ledion.io. Every email ends with the HubSpot account it’s about and where to change the recipients.
Alerts go out only while Ledion is installed in that HubSpot account.
What Ledion sends
| Subject | When | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Ledion can’t reach [Network] anymore | A network stopped accepting Ledion’s connection, and the connection now says Needs reconnect | Once a day at most per connection |
| [failed] of [total] Ledion sends failed in the last 24 hours | In the last 24 hours, at least 10 sends finished and at least 20% of them failed (no network took the conversion) | Once a day at most |
| You’ve used [percent]% of this month’s Ledion sends | Your sends this month reach 80% or 100% of your plan | Once per threshold per month |
| Google is rejecting conversions for “[conversion action]” | Google rejected more than 20% of the conversion action’s checked events in the last 24 hours, at least 5 | Once a day at most per conversion action |
| Your Ledion trial ends [date] | 3 days before the trial ends, if you haven’t picked a paid plan | Once per trial |
Ledion checks for most of these every hour, so an email can come up to an hour after the event. The reconnect email usually goes out right after the send that found the problem.
What to do about each
- Can’t reach [Network]: reconnect it (Manage connections), then Retry failed sends. The email names the network’s reason.
- Sends failed: the email names the top reason and how often it came up. Look it up in Troubleshooting. Activity has the details for each send. If the reason doesn’t make sense, reply to the email.
- Sends used: at 100%, Ledion keeps sending for another 10% of your plan, then skips the step until the 1st of next month. Upgrade on the Plan page if you need more (Plan and billing).
- Google is rejecting conversions: the email names the main reason. For click IDs from another Google Ads account, check that the conversion action lives in the account your ads run in. For consent, set Google consent in Ledion’s Settings.
- Trial ends: pick a plan on the Plan page to keep Pro. Without one, Ledion moves to the Free plan (Plan and billing).
Change who gets them
In Ledion, open Settings. Under Alerts, add one email per line in Other alert emails, up to 10, and click Save settings. To stop someone getting them, remove their line. The person who installed Ledion always gets them.
