Disconnect and uninstall
You can stop sending to one network and keep the rest, or remove Ledion from your HubSpot account altogether. Either way, here’s what Ledion deletes and when.
Remove a network
- In Ledion, open Connections.
- On the network’s card, click Remove, then Yes, remove.
Ledion deletes that connection’s saved credentials at once and stops sending to that account. Conversions that send there skip it from then on. Everything else keeps working.
Ledion’s access on the network’s side stays until you remove it there too:
| Network | On the network’s side |
|---|---|
| Google Ads | Remove Ledion’s service-account email from the account’s users (Admin → Access and security, the Users tab) |
| Meta | The token belongs to the system user Meta created in your business when you generated it. It works until it expires or you revoke it in Meta |
| Microsoft Ads | Ledion’s sign-in works until it’s revoked: a password change, your Microsoft admin, or removing Ledion’s consent from your Microsoft account |
| Reddit describes the conversion access token as non-expiring, so it stays valid on Reddit’s side. Ledion has deleted its copy |
To turn a removed connection back on, see Manage connections.
Uninstall Ledion
There are two ways, and they end the same.
From Ledion (the person who installed it):
- In Ledion, open Settings and scroll to Uninstall.
- Click Uninstall Ledion, then Yes, uninstall.
- Ledion says “Ledion is uninstalled. Reinstall within 30 days to keep your setup.” Ledion stops sending at once, and HubSpot removes it from your account’s Connected apps.
Screenshot to come: Ledion, Settings: the Uninstall section with the Uninstall Ledion button, and the confirmation with Yes, uninstall
From HubSpot (anyone allowed to uninstall apps in your HubSpot account): uninstall Ledion from Connected apps (Marketplace icon → Connected apps). Ledion notices within a day and stops processing then.
Workflows that still reach the step after the uninstall get “Ledion isn’t installed in this HubSpot account. Install it again to send conversions.” and move on. Take the Send conversion step out of your workflows if you’re not coming back.
Billing
Uninstalling doesn’t cancel a paid plan. Before you uninstall, open Plan → Manage billing and cancel there (Plan and billing). If you’ve already uninstalled, email santi@ledion.io and I’ll cancel it.
What happens to your data
| Data | When it’s deleted |
|---|---|
| Ledion’s access to HubSpot (its tokens) | At once when you uninstall from Ledion. Within a day when you uninstall from HubSpot, as soon as Ledion notices |
| Your settings, connections and their credentials, conversions, send history and tracking health counts | 30 days after the uninstall |
| A connection you remove | Its credentials at once. The card stays, marked Off, until the rest is deleted |
| The Ledion contact properties and their values in HubSpot | Never by Ledion: they’re your HubSpot data. Delete the Ledion property group in HubSpot’s property settings if you don’t want them |
Ledion never stored your contacts’ emails, phones, names or click IDs in the first place (Security).
Reinstall within 30 days and your setup comes back as it was: connections, conversions and settings. After 30 days, a reinstall starts from scratch.
Delete everything now
To have everything deleted sooner, before or after you uninstall: in Ledion’s Settings, under Your data, click Request data deletion, then Send request. Or email santi@ledion.io. I confirm with you by email first, then delete everything Ledion stores for your HubSpot account, within 30 days. A paid plan has to be canceled first.
